My Aunt- It's a Wonderful Life

Well, now. I thought I'd share something really amazing. My sister-in-law was homeschooled because of my Aunt J in KY years before she ever met my family. How does this happen???
I visited my aunt when I was 14. I decided that if God ever let the doctors be wrong, I'd homeschool any children I might have. From that day, I never stopped telling parents about that option- I didn't want any more kids going through what I did.
Well, I had a child. I was still lost, but talked to a girl who had two daughters. She was a Christian and was thinking about sending them to Christian school, but was still debating about public school. I talked to her about my Aunt and how much different her kids had it than we did growing up (this girl had a similar life experience to my own). Well, this girl was friends with my sister-in-law's mum. My sister-in-law then being in about the second grade. She was having a terrible time in school and my friend told her mum what I had passed on about my aunt's homeschool experience. So, my sister-in-law was homeschooled and had a wonderful educational experience from that time on. And I know of at least a half a dozen other families in NC alone that homeschool as a result of my aunt's perseverance and pioneering in that field.
There is no telling how many lives my aunt touched by her example. I think it is just amazing how God will use whom He will use to help His people and those who are seeking His face. And had my sister-in-law not been homeschooled, she may never have met or married my brother. Interesting tapestries that our Father weaves.
So, thank you so much Aunt J! You are amazing and this world would not be the same without you.
Well, now back to my icky college work. blech. I am soooo burned out on school. God bless all those who seek Him.
Rose
